Title: Remote QA Lead
Company Overview:
We are in search of a proficient QA Lead with solid experience in the hospitality industry to join our innovative team. This remote role is tailor-made for individuals who have had their grounding in hotels, resorts, lodges, timeshares, or similar settings, and are enthusiastic about enhancing the quality of our Central Reservation System (CRS). By joining our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests receive a seamless reservation experience while also enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in identifying test scenarios and crafting test cases from the early phases of the project, ensuring a thorough and well-planned testing strategy.
- Document test cases meticulously and spearhead the execution of QA, Regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Integration, and Performance testing activities to ensure our CRS is of the highest quality.
- Present testing results at tollgates and other team meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed of the testing progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with relevant team members to document defects, and test fixes provided by the development teams, ensuring all solutions meet the desired quality standards.
- Coordinate efforts with offshore QA team to ensure seamless communication and efficient testing processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, sharing knowledge and expertise with team members to enhance the overall QA process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Lead QA role, with a significant portion of this experience within the hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of reservation systems or similar hospitality industry systems is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively work remotely with a diverse team.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using various testing tools and software.
- Experience in working with offshore teams is a plus.
