Technology that holds up under real conditions

IMD Logic helps government and commercial organizations apply artificial intelligence responsibly, defend critical systems, modernize the data underneath them, and build software that keeps working after the project ends.

Who we are

A solutions company, not a software reseller

IMD Logic is a U.S.-based information technology solutions and professional services company. We assess, design, build, integrate, modernize, secure and support the technology environments that organizations depend on every day.

Established in 2013, we bring more than a decade of experience in technology consulting and professional services to public-sector and private-sector organizations. Our work starts with the outcome an organization is trying to reach — a decision made faster, a system that stops failing, a process that no longer needs six people to run it — and then determines which technology genuinely serves it.

That distinction matters. Tools are easy to buy and difficult to make useful. We align architecture, data, security and delivery so that what gets built is something your team can actually operate, maintain and trust.

What working with us involves

  • A clear reading of your current environment before anything is recommended
  • Architecture and security decisions documented, not assumed
  • Delivery in increments your stakeholders can review
  • Knowledge transfer so your team is not dependent on ours
  • Honest guidance when a technology is not the right answer
Primary capabilities

Three capabilities that increasingly decide whether the rest works

Intelligence, protection and data are no longer separate programs. An AI initiative fails on poor data. A data platform fails on weak access control. We treat them as one problem because that is how they behave.

Capability 01

Artificial Intelligence & Intelligent Automation

Generative AI, machine learning, agentic workflows and process automation — applied where there is a real use case, reliable data behind it and a person accountable for the output.

  • AI strategy, readiness and use-case selection
  • Large language model and generative AI solutions
  • Intelligent document processing and workflow automation
  • AI governance, human oversight and responsible adoption
Capability 02

Cybersecurity & Digital Resilience

Security designed into modernization rather than bolted onto it, so that protecting the environment and improving it stop competing for the same budget.

  • Security assessments and Zero Trust architecture
  • Identity, access management and multifactor authentication
  • Vulnerability management and threat detection
  • Incident-response readiness, continuity and recovery
Capability 03

Data Engineering & Advanced Analytics

The pipelines, models and governance that turn scattered operational data into something an organization can report on, act on and safely train against.

  • Data strategy, architecture and governance
  • Integration, migration and modern ETL and ELT pipelines
  • Cloud data platforms, warehouses and lakes
  • Business intelligence, dashboards and predictive analytics
Supporting capabilities

The engineering depth behind the strategy

Advice is only useful if someone can build it. These capabilities carry an initiative from a decision on a whiteboard through to a system in production that is supported and secure.

Our approach

How we approach complex technology initiatives

Large technology programs rarely fail on the technology. They fail on unclear scope, undocumented decisions, unowned data and a plan nobody can execute. Our method is built to remove those failure modes first.

Understand

We start with your objectives, constraints, existing systems and the people who use them — before proposing an architecture.

Assess

Current-state review of data quality, security posture, technical debt and integration points, so the plan reflects reality.

Design

Architecture, security controls, data flows and delivery sequence documented and reviewed with your stakeholders.

Deliver

Incremental delivery with automated testing, security checks and demonstrable progress at every stage.

Sustain

Documentation, knowledge transfer, monitoring and support so the result remains operable by your own team.

Markets we serve

Environments with real constraints

Most of the organizations we work with are not starting from a clean slate. They have systems of record that cannot go offline, data spread across a decade of decisions, oversight requirements, and budgets that have to be justified before they are spent.

That context shapes how we work: incremental change, documented reasoning, and modernization sequenced so operations keep running throughout.

See how we work across industries

Government

State and local agencies modernizing legacy systems and resident-facing digital services.

Education

Districts, systems and institutions improving data, security and administrative technology.

Healthcare

Organizations integrating systems and protecting sensitive information under strict handling requirements.

Financial & Professional Services

Firms automating document-heavy processes and strengthening security and reporting.

Technology

Product and platform companies extending engineering capacity and hardening delivery pipelines.

Commercial Enterprise

Operating businesses modernizing infrastructure and applying automation where it pays back.

Responsible innovation

New capability, deployed carefully

Not every organization needs artificial intelligence, and no organization needs it everywhere. The value comes from selecting the right use cases, being honest about readiness, and putting controls around what the system is allowed to decide.

Fit before adoption

We evaluate whether a use case is genuinely suited to AI, and say so when a simpler approach would serve better.

Data you can trust

Model output is only as sound as the data behind it. Preparation, quality and lineage come before deployment.

Human oversight

People stay accountable for consequential decisions. Systems assist judgment; they do not quietly replace it.

Privacy by design

Sensitive information is identified, minimized and protected before it reaches a model or a vendor service.

For government and education

Public-sector work carries obligations that commercial work does not: documented decisions, defensible security, accessible services and stewardship of public money. We build for that from the outset.

  • State, local and education technology modernization
  • Security aligned to recognized frameworks such as NIST
  • Accessible, resident-facing digital services
  • Teaming with federal prime contractors

For commercial organizations

Commercial clients tend to arrive with a specific pressure: a process that costs too much to run, a platform that will not scale, a security gap that has become a business risk. We start there rather than with a transformation program.

  • Automation of high-volume, document-heavy work
  • Application and infrastructure modernization
  • Analytics that reach the people who make decisions
  • Enterprise platform configuration and integration

Careers at IMD Logic

We hire engineers, analysts and consultants to work on our own delivery teams. If you would like to build the kind of systems described on this site, we would like to hear from you.

Tell us what you are trying to accomplish

Describe the initiative, the constraint or the problem. We will respond with a considered view of how we would approach it — including whether we are the right fit.
