Senior/Principle Level Software Engineer

Our client is a trailblazing company that uniquely combines expertise in Government Contracting (GovCon) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to revolutionize the industry. We have created a cutting-edge Artificial Bidding Intelligence System, specifically tailored to tackle the challenges faced by Government Contractors.

The system utilizes the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to automate data collection and dissemination, and to provide actionable insights from uploaded documents. Our goal is to empower our clients, enhance productivity, streamline operations, and significantly reduce costs.

Job Role: We are seeking a Senior/Principle level Full Stack Developer to join our team. Your primary role will involve the entire software development lifecycle, from initial planning to system design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Participate in all phases of software development, including planning, system design, coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate closely with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and formulate effective technical solutions.
Use your expertise to ensure system performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Develop new features and work on improving and maintaining existing code.
Troubleshoot and debug system issues to ensure smooth operations.

Required Technical Skills:

Proficient in Ruby on Rails, with substantial experience in developing web applications.
Hands-on experience with Python, as our system uses Python for certain aspects of backend development.
Proficient in Vue.js for developing user interfaces and experience with Tailwind CSS for styling.
Experience working with Google Cloud Services, including managing databases, storage, security, and other aspects of cloud infrastructure.

Subject Matter Expertise: In addition to your technical skills, the following subject matter expertise is required:

Familiarity with the specific workflows associated with government contracting.
Understanding of the data sources that government contractors leverage for insights.
Experience or understanding of multi-tenant architecture, involving development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software that services multiple clients.
