System Administrator
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to client’s Safety and Quality Policies, Rules and Regulations.
- Install, configure and maintain enterprise level server equipment, operating systems and network infrastructure.
- Monitor and configure the entire technology stack to optimize performance and resolve faults.
- Develop, maintain and implement efficient system management techniques to optimize utilization of client’s resources.
- Set up and maintain users on the network with the appropriate user group and file security,
- Coordinate ICT housekeeping procedures, including system backups and monitor system access to ensure safe and secure operation.
- Plan and maintain production system change control, as well as facilitate the development, testing and implementation of new software and hardware releases for technical applications and related interfaces.
- Draft operating and implementation standards to protect hardware, software and business-related investments.
- Collect data and prepare monthly reports on system usage, measuring capacity and systems availability and problem management
- Consults with manufacturers of existing and future equipment and software for the latest patches and updates; applying them throughout the organization for maximum system protection and added functionality_
- Any other tasks assigned to by immediate supervisor.

Job Specification
- Minimum Education Level Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
- Minimum Related Experience Required Minimum of 5 years working experience in a relevant ICT field in an equivalent enterprise environment.
SKILL(S) & ABILITIES: Essential
- Experience with the development, implementation, and management of ICT infrastructure related products.
- Broad, contemporary knowledge of ICT products and services with the ability to engage in technical discussion with superiors.
- Good working knowledge of enterprise level network environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
- Well-developed administrative skills including the ability to meet strict deadlines and work with limited supervision.
- Conform to shifting priorities, demands a timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
