Software Project Manager

Type: Freelance part time work with possible full-time employment in the future

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to join our team as a consultant with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment in the future. The ideal candidate should have experience in software development, preferably in a CRM environment. The candidate should have the ability to identify and calculate software project costs, report to upper management, and possess a bachelor’s degree. A project management certification is also preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Manage software development projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring the project is completed within budget, scope, and timeline.
• Determine and assess project requirements, resources, and risks.
• Develop detailed project plans, including project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Monitor and track project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion.
• Communicate with upper management to provide project updates and report project costs and progress.
• Provide technical and functional guidance to project teams and ensure the team is working efficiently.
• Ensure that software projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts as they arise.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project quality and efficiency.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software project management, preferably in a CRM environment.
• Experience in identifying and calculating software project costs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate project teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) is preferred.
• Ability to collect and analyze clients’ business requirements and translate them into project specifications.
• Experience in conducting requirements workshops and facilitating stakeholder meetings to gather project requirements.
