Information we collect
When you use the contact form
We collect your name, business email address, organization, telephone number if you choose to provide one, the area of interest you select, and the message you write. This is delivered to our team by email so we can respond. It is not stored in this website’s database and is not used for any other purpose.
When you apply for a position
We collect your name, email address, telephone number and LinkedIn profile URL if you provide them, any cover message you write, and the résumé file you upload. We use this information solely to assess your application for the role you applied to and, where relevant, other openings at IMD Logic.
Your résumé is stored in a protected location on the server, outside the publicly reachable media library. It is given a randomly generated filename, is not linked from anywhere on this website, cannot be reached by guessing a web address, and is not attached to notification emails. It can be opened only by signed-in members of our team who hold the necessary permission.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses, browser type and pages requested. These are used to operate and secure the website. This website does not use advertising or cross-site tracking technologies.
To limit automated abuse of our forms, we store a one-way hashed value derived from your IP address and browser identifier for a short period. The original IP address is not recoverable from this value and is not retained by the website for that purpose.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for people who sign in to administer the site, and to remember your details if you leave a comment where comments are enabled. If we introduce analytics in future, this policy will be updated before doing so.
How long we keep information
- Contact form messages are delivered by email and are retained in our email system according to our normal business correspondence practice.
- Job applications and their résumé files are deleted automatically approximately 365 days after submission. Deletion removes both the application record and the stored résumé file, and there is no exception to it.
- Server logs are retained by our hosting provider according to their standard practice.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your information and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. Information is accessible to IMD Logic personnel who need it to respond to your inquiry or assess your application, and to the service providers who operate our website hosting and email delivery, who process it on our behalf.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to:
- Confirm what information we hold about you
- Provide a copy of that information
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete your information, including your application and résumé
- Withdraw consent you previously gave
To make any of these requests, write to info@imdlogic.com. We will respond within a reasonable period. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state or national privacy law; we will honour those where they apply to you.
How we protect information
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Uploaded résumés are validated on the server, stored outside the public media library with randomly generated filenames, and released only through an authenticated, permission-checked request. Access to the website’s administration area is restricted to authorized personnel.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the information you provide.
Children
This website is intended for business and professional use. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please write to us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
This website may link to sites operated by other organizations. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
