IMD Logic LLC is seeking an AI Automation Engineer to design and implement practical artificial intelligence and workflow-automation solutions for government and commercial environments. This role focuses on turning business requirements into secure, reliable systems that improve operations, decision-making, and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and identify appropriate opportunities for AI and automation.
- Design and develop generative AI, machine-learning, and intelligent workflow solutions.
- Build integrations connecting AI services, enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and document-management systems.
- Develop solutions involving large language models, intelligent document processing, virtual assistants, and process automation.
- Implement human approval points, access controls, monitoring, and responsible-AI safeguards.
- Prepare, validate, and organize data used by AI applications.
- Test solutions for accuracy, security, performance, reliability, and usability.
- Document architecture, technical decisions, operating procedures, and support requirements.
- Work directly with technical teams, business stakeholders, and client representatives.
- Support solutions through deployment, knowledge transfer, and ongoing improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience developing software, automation, data, or artificial-intelligence solutions.
- Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, or another modern programming language.
- Experience working with APIs, databases, cloud services, and system integrations.
- Understanding of generative AI, large language models, machine learning, or natural-language processing.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software-development practices, version control, testing, and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-focused environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure AI, AWS AI services, Google Cloud AI, or comparable platforms.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, AI agents, or document-processing solutions.
- Familiarity with responsible-AI practices, data privacy, cybersecurity, and model governance.
- Experience supporting government, education, healthcare, or regulated commercial organizations.
- Knowledge of automation platforms, enterprise applications, or data-engineering tools.
